I was in the computer lab at school today when Russel Mueler said something about not having his call sign yet from the FCC. He then said something about wanting a vanity callsign. We then started looking up strang call signs. Some of the interesting ones we found were K9SEX which is Yahoo’s Contest Club Callsign. In the QRZ Biography it even has a picture of a dog. Some more are N0SEX and N0ASS
Yes… n0ass is a strange call sign… Ham radio has become so boring and so filled with humorless blue haired old farts, it’s just not that much fun any more. the n0ass call sign was designed to add a little humor to the bands and take the wind out of the sails of the idiots that think 150 year old technology (CW) still has any place at all in todays world..
noass is soooo right. Ham radio is dead because those on it take much to seriously ard wreck it fo every one else.
Yes it’s sad that Ham Radio seems like it’s slowly dying. Although I can’t say much, I haven’t been on my radio in way too long, especially since I wrecked my car that had all of my radios installed in. That happened almost two years ago. I think I’m going to drill some more holes in my current car and install some radios! Anyone know where I can get some cheap MO (Motorola) mounts that go through the roof? Thanks for commenting!
