Well, looks like David, Brian, Craig, and I are headed to Deals Gap soon. It’s a total of 610 miles from my house and will take us an estimated 13 hours to reach. The stretch of road that we are traveling so far for has a kick ass attribute of 318 turns in 11 miles. This is what makes this stretch of road so famous and is also why we are willing to ride our motorcycles over 600 miles to experience it. Anyway, before this trip I do not own any leathers. I figured that it might be wise of me to buy some as a form of health/medicalinsurance. Although leathers are extremely expensive, they are a lot cheaper than a medical bill if you go down on a motorcycle with out them. My first investment is a Alpinestars Dyno Leather Jacket. The cheapest place I found this online was SandHillsPowerSports.com. My next investment was a pair of Alpinestars Leather pants which zip onto the jacket. My choice was the Alpinestars Bat pants, I guess these are the same pants that Batman wears. Alpinestars also has a womens sytle of leather pants called “Cat Pants” for all you Cat Woman fans. Anyway the cheapest place I found these is SandHillsPowerSports.com Now since I have the pants and jacket, all I need is a pair of gloves which I also purchased from SandHillPowerSports.com I ordered black since they didn’t have my size in blue. The last and final thing I purchased was a Tank Mount for a Camcorder. After some research on the best one I found the Suzuki Spectre at XtremeCameraMounts.com I am SOOO excited for the trip down! Looks like we may have to camp one night out there. Which shouldn’t be a problem except we don’t have a whole lot of room for luggage considering we are taking a Miata, a ZX-6r, and my SV. We have a room for the last night there so we would only have to sleep in the wilderness the one night. I guess we will see what happens. I can’t wait…….
