I, like many other people, like to play video games. I especiallly like playing obsolete and vintage video games. I went through a phase where I collected old roms from nintendo and super nintendo games. I started on N64 but the roms ended up being extremely large and take up a lot of disk space. I recently found a place where I could download some Atari 2600 roms and also a emulator. It’s called Atari Age Here you can download roms individually or in bulk. Or you can download the roms from here. *Note the Emulators are for Mac OS you will have to downlaod a Windows version if you have Windows.

My Xbox 360 bid on ebay
So I was browsing ebay to see what kind of insane amount someone would pay for an Xbox 360. I sorted the list by price from the highest. I noticed a buy it now price at $1,000,000 and you can submit a best offer. Here is my best offer and my terms. Notice the “buyer message”, I had help from some guys in the computer lab. So what do you think my chances are that I will get my bid accepted??
Xbox 360 Disassembled
AnandTech decided to disassemble the Xbox 360 to see what makes it tick. Of course they don’t go just as far as just removing the cover, they do a complete tear down. The nice thing about the article is that AnandTech walks you through the process step-by-step. I’m not sure if anyone I know will tear it apart as soon as they get it but I believe this walk through will be helpful in the future when prices drop and mod chips come out for it.
Halo 2 Super Bouncing
Halo 2 Hacking
So I was playing Halo 2 on Xbox Live last night and I was getting my ass handed to me. I was getting shot from across the map as soon as I had spawned. Also when I engaged in close combat with a member from the other team they seemed to be able to target me very easily and hit me with great accuracy even though they were jumping over me and leaping through the air. A member from my team had said that they were using “Action Replay”. So I decided to do a little bit of research on this so called “hack”. First of all Microsoft has stated that if you use any hacks at all, software or hardware, and you are caught, you will be BANNED from Xbox Live matchmaking games. You can still make custom games and play online, but you will be banned from any of the ranking games. Action Replay Website They have it listed for $29 the Action Replay description for the Xbox states:
Action Replay MAX for Xbox works differently to the PS2 and GC versions. Instead of offering type-in codes, it lets you download game saves from Datel’s CodeJunkies server and transfer them to your Xbox, and also upload your own saves for others to use. There’s a thriving community dedicated to swapping game saves, and Datel’s code creators also put together something called PowerSaves, which are save positions with built-in cheats such as Infinite Lives, All Levels and more.
Did I hear Game Saves?? No codes?? How do I get Auto Aim, faster firing rates, ability to run faster and jump higher, in Halo 2??
Here is a link to all the game saves for the Action Replay. It even has a soft mod installer download, you just have to download the exploit from bittorrent. I plan on getting action replay tonight if not tomorrow. Even if I havn’t found a way to cheat on Halo 2 Live I think it would be fun to play some of the game saves.
