Hi Everyone
I just bought a vx7 Standard , and I need to do the mod for free band ,
I tryed several mods but the tx wont work , it works only on amateur bands

The vx 7 is a type (F) well I don’t really know what does it means.

Can anyone help me please ?

I have just started trying to program my vx7r with vx7Commander. After a few successful transfers, I had reset the unit once or twice, now I find that it cannot receive the weather channels, as described in this article. Does anyone know how to get out of this “curios setup”? Or have a saved vx7Commander file with the default setup that I can download?

hi to all!i have a new vx-6r and i want to know how to transmit full 5w with some mod or hack?also i tried the first hack for audio and the next for reset cpu with success!!mail me if you know something for my vx-6r!thank you!!

I understand man. But it will be worth it. I see your drinking the Dave cool-aid. I took my wife too see him here in town last spring and she is finally on board with it (well sort of, she’s up to trotting intensity anyway).

It sucks giving up things you love, but you’ll be glad you did.

Hi… Don’t wanna answer for the guy but I think I can help with the questions about the grip extensions…

I think theyre, A&G Spacer Sleeve extensions to use Glock23 Mags.

So it means the G27 can hold 13rds in the Mag and 1 in the pipe…

Apologies if I’m wrong but I think thats what he has on his G27.

… I’m buying them for my G26 to take 15+1

Follow up to the soft mod question above. When I xmit on the freq, the ‘TX ERROR pops up.

I soft mod the radio and it still will not allow the xmit outside of the ham band. 150’s. I chose the freeband option.

I just wanted to say ty I’m new to the radio world and found this very helpful I used the soft mod so I would void warranty by opening me unit, love it man thanks all !
